Completed restaurant conversion

From a commercial unit to an operating restaurant.

Converting a unit into a restaurant means connecting the kitchen plan with the building work. On this APEX project, the team worked through floor plans, an equipment schedule and cooler/freezer drawings, including the fit of the cooking equipment beneath the hood.

A coordinated plan. A working restaurant.

The updated layouts gave the project team a shared reference for the kitchen and its connected services. APEX’s completion record confirms that the conversion was complete and the restaurant operational at handover.

Planning a similar conversion? Sam can review your location, concept and available drawings with you, then define the construction scope and next steps.

01 / Restaurant construction

A restaurant beyond the kitchen.

A restaurant renovation reaches beyond the cooking line. This APEX dining space brings the guest area, interior finishes, lighting and exposed building services into the same room.

  • Dining areas
  • Interior finishes
  • Building systems

A full restaurant renovation needs one construction plan for the kitchen, dining room, service areas and building systems. We review those scopes together so equipment deliveries, trade work and interior finishes can be sequenced around the project.

The service counter connects the kitchen with the customer area in this APEX shawarma restaurant project. For an owner, those spaces need to work together: equipment behind the counter, room to serve, and a clear customer-facing layout.

For a restaurant fit-out, we review the kitchen and customer-facing space together. Share your location, concept and available plans so we can discuss the counter, equipment, finishes and building systems as one scope.

Cooking equipment and exhaust hood installation.

A commercial cooking line brings equipment, exhaust and building services into a tight space. This APEX project photograph shows the cooking equipment, stainless-steel wall surfaces and overhead hood together.

  • Installation coordination

For a similar scope, we start with the equipment schedule and site conditions, then coordinate the hood, utilities, specialist trades and installation sequence. Drawings and inspection requirements are confirmed for the individual project.

For bar and restaurant fit-outs, we review the service layout alongside equipment connections, finishes and the wider construction scope. Bring your plans or an existing space and we can work through what needs to change.
